Square end mills
A square end mill produces a flat floor and can be used for slots, side milling, pockets and general material removal when a sharp internal corner is required.
Corner-radius end mills
A defined radius strengthens the cutting corner and leaves the same radius at the internal workpiece corner. The radius must be checked against the part drawing.
Inner-corner-radius form cutters
An inner-corner-radius cutter is a distinct form tool, not a standard corner-radius end mill. ALPINE CORE-IC is intended for inner-radius and special-profile operations.
U-flute geometry
The wide flute space used in the aluminium families supports chip evacuation. Flute count, polished surface and the operation remain part of the selection.
